Why Artune Exists
Talent alone is rarely enough. Families need a clear understanding of where a young musician is now, what may be appropriate next, and the right support along the way.

They require an understanding of the student, their development and the opportunities ahead.
Artune was created to help families make these decisions with confidence. Rather than simply providing lessons, we help families understand a student’s current stage, consider what may be appropriate next, and identify the support they need along the way.
Every student follows a different path. Whether the goal is enjoyment, musical achievement, scholarship preparation or more advanced study, we shape each pathway around the individual.
As students develop, their needs change. Our role is to look ahead, review the pathway over time and bring in the right support when it is needed.
Meet the Founder
Cecilia Cui
Cecilia Cui is a conservatoire-trained violinist and music educator with experience across music performance and education in both the UK and China.
She began her specialist musical training at the China Conservatory of Music before continuing her studies in London at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she completed a Master’s degree in Music Education and an Artist Diploma in Violin Performance.
Alongside her work in music education, Cecilia continues to perform actively across China and the UK, with experience spanning orchestral, chamber and solo repertoire.
Cecilia has worked in educational settings in both China and the UK, having taught and supported 100+ students across different ages, levels and learning environments. Her experience includes one-to-one and group teaching, graded examination preparation, auditions, ensemble work and longer-term musical development.
Working across two different education systems has given her a particular understanding of the decisions families face as a young musician progresses — from finding the right teacher and building strong foundations to preparing for more advanced study, performance opportunities and music scholarship pathways.
Cecilia founded Artune to bring these elements together within a more considered approach to music education: one that looks beyond individual lessons and considers the student’s development as a whole.
At Artune, she leads educational standards, teacher selection and student pathway planning.
